SafeTALK teaches participants to recognize and engage persons who might be having thoughts of suicide and to connect them with community resources trained in suicide intervention. National Club draw

Festival of Lights 2019.
The 2019 Festival Of Lights takes places from March. 15th - 17th with Ireland's original "St. Patrick's Light Parade" on March 17th at 7:30pm. As plans progress for this Summer's Nephin Festival the committee are looking for ideas for events that will cater for the senior members of the community as some of the regular events from past festivals will not be included this year. There are forms available in the Post Office and we ask that people take a form, fill it out with ideas on events they would like included this year and return to the Post Office before March 25th.
Crossmolina Intermediate team have been drawn away to Bonniconlon in the first round of the Championship at Home to Ardnaree in round two and round three against Swinford at a neutral venue. In Junior B Championship Crossmolina are away to Breaffy B and at home to Moy Davitts with a bye in round three

Mindspace Outreach service in Ballina FRC
Mind space Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety. The outreach service will run one day a week (Monday) and is based in the Ballina Family Resource Centre.
