Lotto Results

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 12th of October 2019. The numbers were 10, 11, 17, 35, one punter matched three, Mary Walsh, and wins €150. The draw took place in Maughans Bar. This week’s jackpot is €8,700. Many thanks for your continued support.

Connacht Champions;

Congratulations to Ardagh Lahardane Crossmolina Machale Rovers on winning the Connacht LGFA Junior Club Championship by defeating Claregalway in Ballyhaunis last Sunday the 13th of October 2019.

Crossmolina Minor Footballers were defeated away to Park/Keelogues/ Crimlin in the county Minor D Championship Group 2 semi-final on Saturday week. Played in wet miserable conditions the host sides three early first half goals from Conor Sweeney and two from Simran Singh ment the Deel-Siders were struggling to make inroads on the score board throughout the opening half Edward Gough did score his sides three first half points another Conor Sweeney goal after the break kept the West Mayo side well in command Edward Gough with four points Daniel Howley and Diarmuid Walsh kept the Crossmolina Score board ticking over and would have been much closer were it not for having missed so many chances and the wood work coming to the winners rescue on two occasions final score 4-7 to 0-10 in favour of P/K/C

Sat, 28 Sep, Venue: Louisburgh, (Round 10), Louisburgh 0-9 Crossmolina Deel Rovers 1-11

Crossmolina gained two valuable Division 2 league points with this win over Louisburgh on Saturday week. In a low scoring opening half Crossmolina lead at the break by two points 0 – 5 to 0 – 3 three points from Conor Loftus and a brace from Cathal Carolan Paul McDonnell one and Kevin Gibbons two points accounted for the hosts. Who quickly wiped out this lead in the opening minutes of the new half with points from Kevin Gibbons and Sean Keane Conor Loftus replied with a point Raymond Prendergast tied the score again after forty minutes Crossmolina gained the upper hand tacked on two points from Brian Benson and Fionan Duffy again the West Mayo side came back with points from James Gibbons and Austin O’Malley to tie the score before Crossmolinas Stephen Duffy made a telling run in along the end line and drove ball across the goal into the corner of the net in the 48th minute and for the remaining twelve minuets Crossmolina were in command Fionan Duffy tacked on two points and Conor Loftus one. Pierce O’Malley added on a point for Louisburgh. After a well contested game played on a very soggy pitch after a previous night’s rain the Deel-Siders kept their chances alive of remaining in this Division with a home tie against Islandeady

Club News

Badminton Has Resumed.

Crossmolina Badminton club has resumed on Wednesday Nights Primary School 7-8pm, secondary school 8-9pm and Adults 9pm -10pm. Sunday evening special Family fun hour 4 to 5 O’Clock

Over 55’s Group Time Change.

Time change for Crossmolina Deel-Rovers Active 55's group, classes will now be 11:45am-12:45pm Tuesdays, light low impact aerobics, weight bearing, endurance and mobility, balance, coordination, flexibility, relaxation. Contact Bernie Dunne, Erris Fitness for further information on: -086.3904370.

Mindspace Outreach service in Ballina FRC

Mindspace Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety.
