Lotto Results

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 27th October 2018. The numbers were 4 – 12 – 21 - 25, no winner, two punters matched three numbers, Damian & Caroline Lavin and Jim & Ann Timoney, and each win €75. The draw took place in Cawleys of Rakestreet. This week’s jackpot is €12,750. Many thanks for your continued support.

Mayo GAA through the HSE Health and Wellbeing Initiative are delighted to work in partnership with the Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force and South West Mayo Development Company in the delivery of SAOR training for GAA Club Health and Wellbeing Officers in Co Mayo.
Who should attend?

The main target of the training is GAA Health and Wellbeing Club Officers or other designated club members, coaches, etc. This training is user friendly and appropriate to everyone. You don’t need any previous training or qualifications to attend.
SAOR training:

 Will support you have an informal chat with someone around their alcohol use.
 Will look at alcohol consumption in Ireland and how it impacts on sports performance.
 Will upskill you to feel more comfortable and confident in approaching the topic of alcohol.
 Will help you develop transferable communication skills to use in other situations.
 Will help you signpost people to supports and services in the local community.

Course Duration: The 1 day training runs from 10am – 4pm with a coffee and lunch break in between. The training itself is interactive in a very informal and relaxed environment. You will receive a certificate of attendance and CPD credits if applicable.
Dates: The 1 day training takes place on the following dates

 Saturday the 24th of November (10am-4pm)
 Wednesday the 28th of November. (10am – 4pm)

Crossmolina had a comfortable win over Erris St Pats goals in the 17th and 25th minutes from the Caden brothers Darren and Nigel gave the home side the plat form to build up a half time score of 2-5 to 0-5 with Adam Carabine the scorer in chief for Erris St Pats Boys. There was only one team in the final thirty minutes and final score 4-17 to 0-8

Crossmolina made a great recovery after dreadful opening ten minutes when they trailed by seven points 2-2 to 0-1 to a Cill Chomain team who could do nothing wrong but that all changed when the visitors took control and went in leading to lead by five points at the break thanks to goals from Tommy Walsh and Nigal Caden. Crossmolina continued to contain the home side in the second half to hold on for four points win 2-16 to 3-9

At the executive meeting of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club on Tuesday night congratulation was extended to Belmullet club on winning the county Intermediate Title after a lapse of 44 years and also to Manager Damien Mulligan and Physio David Walsh and Good Luck in the Connacht Championship. Best wishes were also extended to Joe Keane who has joined the Sligo coaching staff, Stephen Rochford with Donegal and Gerard O’Malley with Offaly

Mindspace Outreach Service in Ballina FRC
Mindspace Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety. All Star Nominated
Congratulation to Rachel Kearns Carrowkeel who has been nominated for an all-Star award on the Ladys Gaelic Football Team for her performances with Mayo during the year. The 45 nominees were announced on Thursday last from around the four provinces and the final fifteen will be announced a t a gala function in the City West Hotel in Dublin on Saturday 1st December
Cairde Mhaigheo Club Delveopment Draw 2018

Draws 5 & 6 of the Club Development Draw for 2018 were hosted by Kiltane GAA over the weekend.
Congratulations to Clare & Patrick Hopkins from Crossmolina who won €5,000 in Draw 5 and to Chris Myles and Paddy Joe Sweeney who both won €200.
