The 2010 season was one of those years for the Crossmolina Ladies GAA that only when the dust has settled will we fully appreciate all that was achieved both on and off the field. The club has made great progress with new Mentors, Officials Parental and Community support. To maintain the gains and to continue to progress as a club we welcome new patrons to give voluntary commitment.
U14's on the double
The U-14 team delivered on their potential this year by winning the division 1 league and championship.

The following is the match report by PJ Hughes for the League final;-
The Crossmolina U14 Girls captured their first County Division 1 title with a five points 5-05 to 3-06 win over Westport in Swinford on Wednesday June 16th. With Crossmolina leading by 4 - 3 to 1 - 5 at half time the west mayo side came out after the break intent on eating into deficit with Nicola Gannon pulled a goal back which was cancelled out in the 32nd minute by Rachel Kearns
In a low scoring second half there was just two further points for the winners from Rebecca Maughan and Rachel Kearns who was awarded the lady of the match. Crossmolina had many hero's especially in defence in those last fifteen minutes when Westport went on an all out attack.
Special mention to Laura Fergus, Audrey Keane, Ruth Queenan and Danielle Kelly who captained side and was presented with the cup by Caroline Brogan Mayo Lady's Board Chair Person.
The team arrived back in town to great reception with Michael Duffy providing the music

The following is the match report by PJ Hughes for the Championship final;-
Crossmolina U14 girls captured their first ever County A Championship title with a three point win over a gallant Westport side in Swinford on Monday last. The Deel-Siders were ahead from the first whistle to last. Rachel Kearns opened the scoring with a point after a number of attacks ended in wides or were well defended. Sinead Mulhern cracked in a goal after a goal mouth scramble. Westports Beckey Gavin raised two white flags in quick succession. Rachel Kearns drove a blistering shot past a helpless Briony Quinn. Kirsten Walsh replied with two points for the covies . Rebecca Maughan tacked on a goal and a point. Nicole Gannon and Becky Gavin pointed for Westport before Rachel Kearns extended the lead with a point to leave the half time score 3 - 3 to 1-6
In the second half Stacy Mangan pointed after three minutes and Rachel Kearns grabbed her second goal to extend Crossmolina's lead midway through the half. Westport were not in this final to make up the numbers and came back with goals from Lauren Burke and Kirsten Walsh. Rachel Kearns and Lauren Burke then exchanged points. Rebbeca Maughan pointed two frees before Westport reduced the lead back to just one point with a goal .
Crossmolina finished the stronger with further points from Rebecca Maughan to secure a hard earned win and double success for the Crossmolina girls having won the League title back in June also against Westport.
Final score 4-10 to 4-07. Caroline Brogan Chairperson of Mayo Lady's Board presented the trophy to Danielle Kelly and Danielle also picked up the lady of the match award which was presented by Teresa Connelly . The team and supporters drove in cavalcade back through Laherdane and on to Crossmolina with bonfires to greet them in both towns, refreshments were served in Murphys and Hiney's to the team and supporters.
