This year a total of forty six U-10 & U-12 girls took part in thirty training sessions and played twenty five matches under the guidance of Ann Larkin, Patricia Melvin, Peter Mangan, and John Hegarty.

The Mayo league matches started in May and were played on Wednesday evenings.
The U-12's had 4 wins out of 6 matches and qualified for the ‘A' semi-final against Swinford. This was a great achievement for the U-12 squad and they had a very successful 2006 season. The county final win still eludes us however.

The following girls were part of the 2006 U-12 squad Nicole Caden, Eimear Loftus, Jane Fox, Kate Dever, Kate Dolan, Carol Fair, Sinead Fergus, Ann Marie Gill, Shauna Carolan, Sarah Duffy, Emily Davidson, Maria O'Donnell, Marie Larkin, Rachel Kearns, Colleen Barrett, Niamh Barrett, Rachel Melvin, Caoimhe Walsh, Sarah Corcoran, Laura Fergus, Danielle Kelly, Eaodin McDermott, Nicola Judge, Sharon Granahan,

The U-10 girls took part in 5 county blitz's and won 12 of their 15 games.

The following girls were part of the 2006 U-10 squad Nicola Judge, Danielle Kelly, Rachel Gallagher, Grace McAndrew, Rachel Kearns, Colleen Barrett, Clara Loftus, Karen Hegarty, Emma Judge, Stacy Mangan, Laura Fergus, Amy Traynor, Erris McAndrew, Jacinta Kelly, Michelle Kearns, Gemma Cooney, Nisha Maughen, Rebecca Maughen, Sharon Granahan, Aoife Hegarty, Isabelle Connor, Madeline Keane, Elaine Ormsby, Tara Ryan, Niamh Gallagher, Imelda Loftus, Niamh Larkin.

Three of the girls were chosen to be part of the Mayo U-12 squad, Nicole Caden, Jane Fox and Sarah Duffy, Sarah also had the distinction of being captain. They trained hard for their coach Agnes Mulligan from Knockmore and had great success when they lifted the Connacht title on Sunday the 3rd of September defeating Galway in Dunmore by 1-6 to 0-4.

The U-12 girls also won the Pioneer 5 a-side All-Ireland final in September, the team included, Carol Fair, Rachel Melvin, Marie Larkin, Eimear Loftus, Jane Fox, Nicole Caden and Sarah Duffy.

The season finished with a challenge game against Knockmore U-10's & U-11's
