Crossmolina Suffered a three points defeat away to Claremorris in the Michael Walsh league quarter final on Sunday last the side was dealt a severe blow early on with the harsh dismissal of Gabriel Walsh. Claremorris lead by four points 0 – 7 to 0 – 3  at the break, with Brian Benson getting his sides three points, after the break Sean Kelly and Brian Benson grabbed two points each but the winners added three more to run out winners by 0 – 10 to 0 – 7.
