Crossmolina suffered a seven points defeat in the County Minor League against a much more committed Ardnaree side in St Tiernans Park. An Aaron Mullaney goal after four minutes set the visitors up to dominate the opening 30 minutes to lead at the break by 1 – 7 to 0 – 3.
The second half was much closer with a Tommy Walsh goal in the 50^th minute giving the Deel-Siders  a brief  lift, but further points from David Naylor, John Timlin and Stephen Jackson saw that the Ardnaree boy’s were well in command. Final score 1 – 12 to 1 – 5

Crossmolina suffered a one point defeat in the opening round of the county league,   1 – 9 to 0 – 11 at home to Kilfian on Sunday of last week. Having lead at the break 0 – 8 to 0 – 4 after playing with the stiff breeze blowing into the town end with a string of points from J.P..Mulhern, Thomas Cafferty, Thomas McNulty, Dean Loftus and Gerard Haran. kilfians scores came from Noel Bilbow, Cathal Boland and Seamus Reape.
After the break Kilfian were in control  Cathal Boland kicked two points and Noel Bilbow one before  Gerard Haran and Thomas Cafferty replied with points. The crucial goal came in the 22 minute from Cathal Boland, Noel Bilbow pointed to tie the score and Seamus Reape from a 35m free gave his side the lead just before the final whistle for a deserved win after some poor shooting early in the half.

Well done to Crossmolina NS Mini 7s team who won the Mayo final defeating Westport Gaelscoil in a thrilling final at McHale Park on Friday last.

Rachel on Irish Team
Congratulation and well done to Rachel Kearns Carrowkeel who played for Ireland U19 Women in Last weeks UEFA Championship Elite Round Group 1 with Games against Germany Azerbaijan, and Poland with win’s against the later two Rachel was taken down for a penalty against Poland unfortunately the 1 nil  loss to Germany prevented them advancing to the Finals in Slovakia in July

At the executive meeting of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers Club on Tuesday night 12^th April Congratulation was extended to Michael Moyles Captain and Mike Gallagher Manager and all associated with Mayo Teachers on winning the All-Ireland Inter-Firms Junior title last weekend Also to Crossmolina Tigers U14 Basketball team on their wonder full performance in the All-Ireland final in Antrim Form last week end.
