Crossmolina Deel Rovers 3-15 Charlestown Sarsfields 3-15 This game ended in a welter of excitement in Tiernans Park with Crossmolina staring defeat five points down with only seven minuets left to play a Dean Loftus goal and two points from Fionan Duffy tied the score. This was certainly a game of two halves, in the opening 30 minutes Crossmolina dominated play with a freshening breeze, Fionan Duffy with seven points, Tommy Walsh rowed in with a goal and three points, Jordan Flynn and Nigal Caden also added points to leave the half time score 1 â 12 to 1 â 6. Keelan Horkan scored 1 â 2 of his sides total to keep in touch. The second half was only minutes old when Tommy Walsh was tumbled in the square and Fionan Duffy converted the penalty. Congratulations Congratulations to Mchale Rovers U16 Girls team on winning their County Final on Saturday 15/10/2016. Some photos are included in todays email, with reports to follow. Astro Turf News; The Astro turf is officially open for business and several groups are using it on a weekly basis. The Kevin Loftus Over 30s league started two weeks ago and has involved approximately 80 men from the local area. Mothers & Others are using it on Thursday evenings and the National Schools boys and Girls Cumann na Mbunscoil teams train on it each week. Add to this the senior football team and the new facility is getting great use. Any group interested in booking the facility should contact Michael at 0872046722.
