Awards & Social Night P.J. Loftus received the 2016 Deelrovers Hall of Fame Award from Club President Tom McNulty at the Awards and Social night held last night the 27/12/2016. Other award winners on the night were:

St Stephens day A great afternoon was held on St Stephens Day at St Tiernans Park. 50 players took part in a mini tournament with CathalCarolans team winning out and FinaunDuffys team getting the wooden spoon!! Thanks to all who provided refreshments both hot and cold in the clubhouse afterwards. The Club wishes all its members and friends a very Happy 2017.

Mindspace Mayo launches Outreach Service in Ballina We are very excited to announce that Mindspace Mayo have launched our second Outreach service in Ballina. This service will make it more accessible for young people in the Ballina and surrounding areas (Crossmolina, Killala, Foxford, Ardagh, Knockmore, Bonniconlon, Ballycastle) to get the help they need where and when they need it. The outreach service will run one day a week (Monday) and is based in the Ballina Family Resource Centre (Abbey St). The outreach service will be used for pre-arranged appointments only with no drop in facility available in this centre.
With mental health being the primary health concern affecting young people today, the development of accessible and appropriate services has never been more important. Access to early and timely support is the key to resolving many of the difficulties that young people experience.
Mindspace Mayo is that early intervention. It is a free, non-judgemental and confidential service for young people aged 15 – 25. 1-in-3 young people will experience mental health distress. Mindspace Mayo will assist young people meet the demands of life. The aim is to ensure that when young people are struggling, they get the support they need, when and where they need it. Mindspace offers a support service to young people presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety.
