Club members All Club members are asked to email deelrovers@gmail.com with any jobs that they see needs doing around the GAA grounds. We are actively seeking suggestions on any way to improve our Club.
Mayo Coaching and Games is running a couple of courses over the next few weeks.
The first is a Physical Literacy Workshop on Thursday 19th January in the Ballina Stephenites Clubhouse 7.30pm sharp to 9pm.
The workshop applies to Coaches who are working with Under 6 and Under 8 children. It will focus on How to Develop Fundamental Movement Skills and an Introduction to Gaelic Football Skills to that age group. The workshop will be delivered by Eanna Casey and admisssion is free.
The second is a Foundation Coaching Course in Killala Community Centre. Night one is Monday 30th January. Night two is Thursday 2nd February. The course runs from 7pm to 10.30pm each night. Maximum Participation on this course is 25. I would appreciate it if you could get back to me as soon as you can with the number of Coaches from your club that are interested in doing the course. If the total number is over 25 I will organise another course as soon as possible.
Cost of this Course including Child Protection Course is €35.
