The hosts played with a freshening breeze and raced into a early lead with goals from Shane Hamilton Leo Goldrick Crossmolina’s Diarmuid Coggins Diarmuid Walsh and Niall Coggins each raised green flags to leave the half time score 5 – 4 to 3 – 4 James Williams bagged two goals Eoin Murphy and Niall Coggins one each in between Dillon Carmody Shane Hamilton and Eoin Coyle were keeping the Deel-Siders at arms length with goals each Crossmolina reduced the lead down to two points but late goal and a point gave the Ballaghaderreen boys a six points winning margin 9 – 1 0 to 7 – 10
