On Saturday the 24th of June our U11’s boys participated in a blitz along with Ardnaree, Beann Eadair CLG (Howth, Dublin) and Bonniconlon. It was such an enjoyable morning with plenty of football for everyone

Community Games Thank You
The Crossmolina Area Community Games annual sports day on 28th of May last was a fun family afternoon. Many thanks to all the children who participated and to parents for your continued support. Congrats and good luck to the children representing the area in county finals in Claremorris track on 2nd July.

Festival News
The second last heat of the "Singing Pubs" takes place in O'Malley's Bar & Grill on next Saturday, July 1st, €100 prize for the heat winner. Congratulations to Rebecca Mulhaire who won the heat in the Thatch, Rebecca lives in Ballina and is daughter of Billy Mulhaire, originally from St. Mary's Park. This year's festival will be filmed for broadcast on TV in August, the film crew will record the preparations in the town for the festival as well as some festival events as well. Thank you to Coolturk Quarries, AGS Scaffolding, Martin Lynn Painter, Stick's Bar & The Thatch Bar for making this possible. We invite everyone to the festival launch in the Town Hall on Sat. July 1st (after 8pm mass) & Sun. July 2nd after 11:30am mass. The festival brochure will be available plus details on all of the events, entertainment etc and the launch of the new festival website at www.crossmolinafestival.ie." |
