Lotto Results
There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 3rd of August 2019. The numbers were 12, 17, 22, 29, No punters matched three so three tickets were drawn, Stephen Jordan, Stephen Rowland and Caroline Maloney, and each win €50. The draw took place in Lynott’s Bar. This week’s jackpot is €7,050. Many thanks for your continued support.

Burrishoole collected two very valuable division 2 League points at Tiernan’s Park on Saturday Week after racing into a four points lead in the opening eleven minuets with three points from Fintan McManamon and one from Alan Ryder before Fionan Duffy opened his sides account it tit for tat after that opening burst of scoring Fionan Duffy tacked on two more points Fintan McManamon and Patrick Chambers Fionan Duffy again and a 45 From Kevin Mulhern reduced the lead with points each but two points for the west Mayo side before the break for Alan Ryder and Liam O’Malley gave them a four points advantage 0 – 8 to 0 – 4 Fionan Duffy and Cathal Carolan quickly tacked on points which were cancelled out with like scores from Michael O’Malley James Moran Fionan Duffy raised two white flags before James Moran struck over another long range point. Burrishooles Colm Guilfoyle was on hand to crash the ball to the net in the 45th minutes after goalmouth scramble after two shots blocked by defenders. Crossmolina kept battling away Fionan Duffy four frees and one from open play Cathal Carolan and Brian Benson rowed in with points each in between those scores Fintan McManamon and Padraig McManamon had points each to secure a one point win after a entertaining game on an ideal evening with little or no wind on a dry pitch

Crossmolina got off to a brilliant start with goals in the first and eight minutes from Lorcan Loftus and Tommy Walsh at Kilfian Pitch on Wednesday last in this north Mayo U21 B Championship final. Cill Chomain settled and three points from Justin Healy Jason Mason two and another from Justin Healy tied the score after 23 minutes later Seamus Mason grabbed his sides only goal and Jason Mason tacked on a point. Crossmolina were dealt a severe blow midway through the half when Keelan Hegarty went off with an injured ankle and Crossmolina had only thirteen fit players and Colm Hegarty who was recovering from injury came on after half time just before the break Robert Murphy soloed the length of pitch to score a goal and Tommy Walsh pointed to tie the score 1 – 7 to 3 – 1 Jordan Flynn opened the scoring after the break David Healy replied with a point Jordan Flynn again drove over the Cill Chomain bar to restore a one point advantage minutes later Jason Mason tied the score before the winners struck a purple patch with points each from Jason Mason and Mark Healy and Justin Healy tacked on three points which Tommy Walsh replied with two for Crossmolina but the final score came from defender Lorcan Mason to secure a four points winning margin.

Naomh Padraic dominated the opening half of this North Mayo U16 B Final in Glenamoy on Tuesday last and lead at the break by 1 – 10 to 0 – 3 Crossmolina came back and made a great recovery thanks the goals from Diarmuid Walsh and Brian Hopkins in the end Naomh Padraic ran out deserving winners by three points 2 – 15 to 2 – 12

Crossmolina were thrown life line when Fiachra Walshe grabbed an opportunist goal in the 19th minutes and from there to break they outscored the visitors with further points from Conor Caden two J.P.Mulhern Thomas McNulty Robert Murphy and Ian Kelly Diarmuid Durkan and Sean Tracey replied for Ballina to leave the half time score 1 – 8 to 0 -10 Shane McKinley increased the lead with a point just after the break Sean Treacy pointed a free and Thomas McNulty and Diarmuid Durkan traded points Patrick McAndrew gave his side a huge boost when he started and finished a move when fisted the ball to the net after 49 minutes Ballina rallied and reduced the lead to the minimum with a string of points from Sean Treacy Crossmolina defence held firm to deny the visitors any further scores.

Crossmolina carved out a hard earned five points win away to Bonniconlan on Wednesday last after extra time when the sides finished level 2-7 to 0-13. A Tommy Loftus goal in extra time and a man of the match display by Darren Caden during the course of the game ensured the Deel-Siders passage into the North Final against Cill Chomain

Thanks to outstanding contribution of their full forward line of Grace Kelly Rachel Kearns McHale/Rovers and Sarah Rowe who scored 1-20 of their total 1-22. Rachel Scored 1-3 and played a pivotal part in many other scores. Mayo now face into Armagh in the Quarter finals

Conor and Rachel Star for Mayo
Well done to Conor Loftus on a fine display for Mayo last week against Down in Newry in round 2 qualifiers scoring 1 – 4 and Rachel Kearns who starred for Mayo Lady’s in their draw with Galway in the Connacht final in Castlebar scoring 1 -2. Both are wished the best of luck Conor this weekend against Armagh in Castlebar and Rachel in the Replay on Sunday in Tuam
