Crossmolina continued their good form in County U15 League at Tiernans Park on Tuesday last with five points win over Knockmore in absorbing Contest played in ideal conditions. Crossmolina lead at the first water break 2 – 3 to 1 – 2 with goals from Josh Moyles and Adam Mills and points each from the same players. Knockmore replied through Darragh Staunton with two points and a goal from Adrian Sotoparra with Dylan Flynn adding a point. Crossmolina dominated after the water break with goals from Ronan Walsh and Oisin Deane and points from Adam Mills two and one each from Ronan Walsh and Kobe McDonald. Darragh Staunton and Andres Sotoparra tacked on points for the visitors to leave the half time score 4 – 7 to 1 – 5. Knockmore had the better of the third quarter with three points from Darragh Staunton a goal from Adrian Sotoparra and further points from Andreas Sotoparra and Brian Walsh. Josh Moyles replied with two points and Oisin Deane one. After the water break Adam Mills grabbed his sides fifth goal and Mickie Maloney pointed with Adrian Sotoparra scoring his third goal and Brian Walsh tacked on a point to leave the host winners by five points

Crossmolina dominated the opening quarter and lead by four points from the boots of Ruairi McGuinness Dylan Keane Ethan Reilly and Aaron Keane. Ballina came back after the water break grabbing 2 -3 with Aaron Donnellan raising two green Flags for the Deel -Siders to leave just a point separating the sides at the break. Ethan Reilly with three points and goal from Farnan Munnelly in between those scores Ballina notched two goals and a point to tie the score at the water break. Ballina got two points in the remaining minutes and Ethan Reilly replied with a point to leave the final score Ballina 4 – 6 Crossmolina 3 – 8.

Burrishoole were much too strong and physical for a very young Crossmolina side who were short a number of regulars in the County Junior tie at Newport on Sunday week. The black carding of Stephen O’Malley which looked very harsh early on because there was a numbers of defenders in front of the attacking player and Burrishoole went on to scored three goals in those ten minutes and ran out easy winners final score 5 – 10 to 1 – 8 .

This was the second week in succession that Crossmolina came from behind to force a draw after trailing by three points at the half time break 0 – 10 to 1 – 4 the West Mayo side reeled off impressive string scores from Ronan Carolan Ronan Reilly Simran Singh and Ray Neary. Fionan Duffy raised four white flags and Nigel Caden slotted home the goal past the helpless Conor McDonnell. After the break Jack Doocey and Ronan Carolan increased their sides advantage but Fionan Duffy with two points and one from Cathal Carolan kept the Deel-Siders score board ticking over. after the water break it was nip and tuck with Simran Singh and Ronan Carolan pointing and Tom Cafferty Fionan Duffy and a great solo effort from Tommy Walsh to tie the score after a well contested league tie that resembles more like a Championship at times

Crossmolina overcame a resilient Kiltmagh team in the Michael Walsh cup game at Gilmartin Park on Saturday evening after the host dominated the opening quarter with a string of points from Killian Finn Conor Malee Ryan Carroll Ronan Malee and two from Dylan Roche with the visitors only rely on was a pointed free from Fionan Duffy. After the water break Crossmolina scored five points from Kevin Mulhern Nigal Caden Gerard Haran and two from Fionan Duffy with Conor Malee raising a white flag for the hosts to leave the half time score 0 – 7 to 0 – 6 Fionan Duffy Gerard Haran Cathal Carolan tacked on points for the Deel-Siders in between Conor Malee Ronan Malee Mattie Cummins and Donavan Cosgrove kept the score board ticking over just before the water break Dean Loftus made a telling run through the heart of the Kiltmagh defence before he was up ended in the square and Fioan Duffy made no mistake from the penalty to put his side in to a one point lead 1 – 9 to 0 – 11 Brian Gallagher tied the score when play resumed Gerard Haran and Fionan Duffy pointed and Killian Finn quickly restored his side advantage when the blasted the ball to the net Conor Malee and Dean Loftus traded points before Fionan Duffy struck over long range free to tie the score. In injury time sub-Edward Gough took a pass from a Gerard Haran quickly taken free to give Crossmolina a deserved one point winning margin in a game that could have gon either way.
