Belmullet Win Lynch Cup

The 6^th annual Ryan Lynch Memorial cup was certainly a game of two half's in a high scoring contest played in Belmullet on Wednesday evening last. The hosts dominate the opening 30 minuets when playing against  the  breeze with five goals from Gary Boylan two one coming from the penalty spot Eoin Healy Matthew Gaughan and Cathal Barrett. Crossmolina came more into game in the last ten minuets with a string of points from  Fionan Duffy Nicholas Gallagher Nigal Caden Niall Timoney grabbed a goal  to leave the half time score 5 - 4 to 1 - 7. The opening 20 minuets  of the second half  Deel-Rovers boys to took on their opponents and went about wiping out  nine points lead with a goal and a point from Fionan Duffy  further points from Nicholas Gallagher Nigal Caden Gary Hopkins  Duffy again Tony O'Brien Martin McAndrew. The winners only reply were points from Cathal Barret and Gary Boylan Fionan Duffy tied the score with two more points and Scott Kilker made a great save from Duffy at the expense of a 45 which was cleared and Eoin Healy was on the end of the move to  crashed the ball to the net  and added a point from the kickout Cathal Barrett Shane McIntyre tacked on two more to leave the final score 6 - 10 to 2 - 15 to tie the serious at three wins each
