McHale/Rovers continued their good form in the Mayo Ladys Minor Football league with a comfortable win over Castlebar Mitchels at St Tiernans Park on Wednesday last. The foundation for this win was laid in the opening fifteen minuets with a string of goals from Rebecca Maughan Samantha McDonnell two each which the visitors had no answer to Tanya Flynn  Laura Burke Melanie O'Malley did reply with points but Clara Jordan pointed and Rachel Kearns grabbed another goal to leave her side 5 - 2 to 0 - 4 at half time. The second half was much closer with the Mitchels out scoring McHale/Rovers with goals from Orla Barry and Melissa Patterson with Anna Tuohy Laura Burke Orla Barry getting their points. McHale/Rovers points came from Rachel Kearns five and one each from Clara Loftus and Avril Noonr
