Crossmolina U16 Boys suffered a six point's defeat in the north Mayo
Championship at home to Knockmore with the sides evenly balanced the visitors
sneaked into a one point advantage at the break after playing against the
breeze. A Conor Brogan goal in the 20^th minuet was canceled out two
minuets later by Dean Loftus goal for the Deel-Siders to leave Knockmore 1 - 5
to 1 - 4 in in front at the break The visitors dominated the second half with
Ryan Casey goal sealing a comfortable win it was all of 20 minuets before Gary
Hopkins recorded the Crossmolina boys first score and Kenneth McHugh added
another the final score 2 - 9 to 1 - 6
