Lotto

There was no winner of the Crossmolina GAA Club lotto jackpot on Saturday night 14^th of February 2015. The numbers drawn were 8, 10, 26 and 28. There were two match 3 numbers, Stephen & Laura Rochford and Nigel Lynn, they win â‚¬75 each. Next weeksâ€™ jackpot is â‚¬6,800. The draw was held in The Thatch Bar. Crossmolina got their winter league campaign off to a good start with a four points win over Ballina in James Stephenâ€™s Park on Sunday 15/02/2015. The hosts lead at half time by a point 0 â€“ 7 to 0 â€“ 6 A goal from substitute Nigel Caden gave his side the lead they held onto despite some serious threats with Patrick Loftus bringing off a couple of fine saves to deny the Stephenites.

Astro Turf Update

Contracts signed for Astro turf playing facility;

It is with great pleasure that Crossmolina Deel Rovers announces that contracts have been signed for the construction of the Astro Turf playing facility. The winning contractors are Crawford Sports Group. Some preparatory work is already underway and the project will begin on Monday 23/2/2015. Many thanks to all Club Crossmolina members. Your contributions are the cornerstone of our clubs development.

Annual Bord na nÃ“g Quiz and Presentations;

The annual Bord na nÃ³g quiz is being held on Friday 27/02/15 from 7.30pm in Hineys Upper Deck. The presentation of medals and individual awards will be at 9pm.

Senior Club Annual Presentation night;

Will be held on Friday the 27/02/2015 in Hineys Bar from 10pm. Please support this annual event as we recognise the achievements of those working within the club.

Membership.

The club Registrar Andy Gray will be available in Hineys on presentation night for anyone wishing to join club Crossmolina or to pay their annual club membership.

Championship Draw
Crossmolina senior team have been drawn in Group 3 of the Mayo Senior Championship with two away games against Aghamore round 1 and county Champions Ballintubber round 3 and at home to Ballinrobe in round 2 The Junior team are in group 1 with two home games against Kilmeena and Ballaghderreen B and away to Ardagh in round 3

Football

Senior Team are Back training with a fitness test taken place in Ballyhaunis last Saturday morning measuring speed/power/strength, etc..
The Michael Walshe Competition Starts Sunday 22nd of Feb. In the group they will play Castlebar away Breaffy away and Shrule at home, they will return to Ballyhaunis in 7 weeks time for re-testing.
