Crossmolina dominated the opening 30 minutes when assisted by the breeze and goal from Conor Loftus just before the break gave the score board a more respectable look of 1 – 8 to 0 – 4.
Davitts came more into the game after the break but like Crossmolina in the opening half they found it hard to judge the breeze with the game entering the final quarter Sean Waldron bust through and forced Colm Reilly into a wonderful save at the expense of a point when five points separated the sides another Colm Loftus goal after a couple of attempts were blocked in the 25th minuet sealed a comfortable win in the end by seven points 2 – 10 to 0 – 9

Crossmolina Carved out a hard earned five point win over Kilmeena at sunny dry St Tiernan’s Park on Saturday evening after playing with the aid of the fresh breeze they trailed by one point 1 – 3 to 0 – 5.
A much better display after the break and goals from Martin Connor in the 23rd minuet and Shane Keane’s fisted effort in the 28th minuet secured a 2 – 9 to 1 – 7 win.

After an entertaining hours football is this U16 County tie at St Tiernans Park on Tuesday evening Davitts and Crossmolina finished all square 1 – 8 each. The visitors started slowly, as Deelrovers Ronan Lavelle pointed and Conor Caden bagged a goal in the eight minute. Davitts responded through Liam Kearns and Jack Roynane points, before Roynane converted a penalty midway through the half. Liam Kearns again and Colm Mulligan rowed in with points each with Lorcan Loftus replying for Crossmolina with a point t to leave the halftime score 1 – 4 to 1 – 2.
Points from Ronan Lavelle and Keelan Hegarty tied the score before Stephen Reilly and Jack Roynae restored Davitts advantage. Four points on the trot from Ronan Lavelle put Crossmolina two up but two late points from Jack Roynane tied the score for a fair result

This was certainly a game of two halves with Naomh Padraig dominating the first to such a degree they chalked up a half time score of 7 – 11 to 0- 4 with Ben Stowe the scorer in chief, and there was no breeze advantage. Crossmolina came out in the second half and played with more belief, and as a team took the game to their opponents and the scores came thick and fast with a string of goals from Conor Caden, Adam Langan, Edward Gough and Niall Coggins to leave the final score a more respectable 9 – 19 to 8 – 9 in favour of the visitors.
