Congratulations and Well Done to our U8 Boys Saturday 16th of August our DeelRovers U8 Boys headed to the Stephenites Park in Ballina to participate in their annual U8 Blitz. We were able to field two teams who had the opportunity to play against Ardnaree, Ballina, Bonniconlon and Knockmore. Some great football was displayed by all teams throughout the morning. Both of our DeelRovers teams made it to the finals with one team playing Ballina and the other playing Ardnaree. There were some nail biting moments throughout the finals. It was a relief to hear the final whistle blow. It was our day as Crossmolina came home with both the Cup and the Shield. As the boys would say themselves they were âEPICâ It was a very enjoyable day with a display of football that was unreal from lads of such a young age. Thanks to the Stephenites Ballina and to all our loyal supporters. |
