North Mayo Minor A Football Championship Fri, 28 Aug, Venue: James Stephens Park, (Semi-Final 1), Ballina Stephenites V Crossmolina Deel Rovers 19:00, Ref: Vincent Neary Crossmolina minor team advanced to the North Mayo final with a two pointâs win over Ballina at James Stephens Park on Friday of last week. Ballina played with the aid of the breeze in the first half. 2015 U8 Fergal OâBoyle Memorial Blitz
Crossmolina Vs Breaffy U8 Boys win the Fergal OâBoyle Memorial Cup.
The Fergal OâBoyle Memorial Cup challenge match against Breaffy took place on Saturday the 22nd of August in St Tiernanâs Park Crossmolina. Both Crossmolina and Breaffy were able to field 3 teams who battled it out for 40 minutes. The supporters got to experience some outstanding football from both teams. It was a pleasure as always to play Breaffy in this challenge match. For the first time in 3 years this cup is now in Fergalâs home town and in the hands of his nephews who both played on Saturday. We would like to thank the Breaffy team and trainers who travelled to Crossmolina on Saturday to play in this challenge match. The OâBoyle family who have given us this opportunity to play this challenge match. To everyone who helped out on the day. To the supporters who as always are there to cheer the lads on. | | |

Work continuing on Astro turf playing facility; Work is nearing completion on the Astro Turf project. The contractors have laid the final drainage layer. The next job is to lay the sub layer of rubber that will act as a shock pad, thereafter the synthetic grass will be laid. Please obey all construction signs and safety notices during the construction phase. Crossmolina Deelrovers Committee will be working on the parking and fencing of all aspects of the development.
